Application Conditions
Enrollment Application Dates:
The candidates must have the approval of their enrollments between the dates of
December 01, 2018 and February 06, 2019, presenting the documents indicated at the Enrollment Procedures section and making their application personally or by a deputy certified by a notary public. No application by mail will be accepted.
Application Conditions for Graduate Degree Education:
It is announced that ;
By the letter of the Department of Personnel of the Council of Higher Education dated June 11, 2018, numbered 82444403-200-E.41885, as per the ruling of the 8
th Chamber of the State Council, dated February 22, 2018, with docket number 2017/7352, it is stated that
“academic personnel and postgraduate education entrance exam (ALES) results shall be valid for 3 years, starting the date they are announced”.
Therefore,
with regard to the applications made to participate into the Fall Semester Graduate Education entrance exam for the academic year 2018- 2019;
the validity of ALES exam result documents made before September 27, 2017 shall be evaluated as per the above ruling of the Department of Personnel of the Council of Higher Education cited here above,
With regard to the ruling of the Department of Personnel of the Council of Higher Education, the students who are determined having not presented a valid ALES result document, shall not attend the entrance exams and that they are not entitled legally to be subject to an enrollment procedure.
For Graduate Education programs with thesis, as per the date of application, provided that it is obtained within last 3 years, ALES grade has to be at least 55 for the type of the program s/he is making an application or having an equivalent grade to GMAT(450) or GRE(610) as defined by the Council of Higher Education.
(ALES grades obtained after Fall semester 2015 and later are not valid. No ALES grade shall be requested
for non-thesis Graduate Education programs.
For students who are graduated from universities abroad, equivalence certificate and /or recognition certificate for graduate and PhD programs; no equivalence certificate is requested for foreign students’ admission to graduate programs. Applicants receive a written approval from relating department of the Council of Higher education proving that the institutions they had their undergraduate or graduate degree diploma are recognized by the Council of Higher Education and that the education and the grade they have been entitled are sufficient for graduate or PhD programs.

Final Enrollment Procedures
a. For Master’s Degree, Undergraduate diploma or Provisional Graduation Document (Original),
b. For PhD Degree, Master Degree diploma and Undergraduate diploma, (Original),
c. Transcript (Original),
d. Military situation document (Original), (for students who have completed their military service, statement printed out from e-state web page is valid. Students who have not served yet are to present a military status document obtained from military offices latest within last 6 months).
e. Photocopy of the ID card (bearing citizenship number of the Republic of Turkey),
f. Proof of payment (it shall be obtained from accounting department during submission),
g. Photo (4 head shots),
h. ALES (Academic personnel and postgraduate education entrance exam) Document (Requested only for Graduate programs with Thesis and PhD programs, ALES document is not required for special students and Non-thesis Graduate programs).
i. CHE equivalence certificate (Requested from candidates graduated from universities abroad.)
Documents requested from Foreign Students
a. Foreign students, to be enrolled into Graduate Degree programs thought in Turkish language, must possess C1 level grades in Turkish exams conducted by TÖMER or language centers of universities.
b. CHE equivalence certificate (Requested from candidates graduated from universities abroad.)
c. Notarized translation into Turkish of undergraduate diploma and transcript.
d. Passport

Special student’s tuition per class in graduate school is 1.500.-TL.
Time extension for thesis delivery in graduate school is 1.200.-TL, time extension for project is 900.-TL.
Scientific preparation in Graduate School is 300.-TL per class.
Transfer between thesis/non-thesis programs is 5.000.-TL.
In case a time extension is in subject during graduate educations, 900 TL will be paid for each semester, based on the taken classes.
In case of study suspension, 25% of the semester tuition will be paid. (i.e.; Non-thesis programs education period is 3 semesters. Tuition of a semester for a student who paid 6.000.- TL to be enrolled, is 2.000.- TL. 25% of this tuition which is equivalent to 500.-TL is the tuition to be paid for study suspension.)
Tuition fees are returned to the students who have been enrolled to the graduate programs but had a disenrollment before the end of the class adding period. The tuition fees of the actual semester and the semesters during which s/he had education, will not be returned to the students who had a disenrollment after this period.
